These three recordings result from a one-week plan I made on the first day of 2015. It wasn't too long since I had moved to a new place in Petržalka, a legendary flat shared with fellow musicians. I was kind of tired of making music with virtual synths so I got some microphones and decided to record every day anything that felt nice on instruments and objects lying around. Those included a clarinet, melodica, guitar, or a radiator. Some effects you hear in the recording were part of the recording process, some were added later.
The goal was just to play music and have fun as a form of therapy to overcome a creative block. From the improvisations quickly emerged three tracks, each with its own vibe and attitude. Later that year those recordings were forgotten unintentionally as they somehow didn't fit the plans of the Sky To Speak band playing and recording new music with Erik and Pospa, and releasing the split with Pacino.
In 2022 while finalizing a record that includes recordings for various projects and some unreleased tracks I accidentally found a folder with these three recordings I called Amparo back then. I thought it's a shame I didn't put them out there so I am doing it now, almost exactly 8 years later.
